Refund Policy

APNA CHALAK

1. Booking Cancellation Policy

a. By Customer:

Within City Trips:

  • Cancellation allowed up to 30 minutes before scheduled time – no cancellation charge.
  • Cancellation within 30 minutes of pickup time – ₹50 cancellation fee.

Outstation Trips:

  • Cancellation allowed up to 2 hours before scheduled time – full refund.
  • Cancellation within 2 hours – 10% deduction from the advance amount.

b. By Apna Chalak:

  • If a booking is cancelled from our end due to driver unavailability, natural disaster, or unforeseen technical issue, the full amount paid will be refunded to the customer.
  • We will notify the customer as soon as possible and offer the option to reschedule or get a full refund.

2. Refund Policy

a. Eligibility for Refund:

  • Driver fails to show up at the scheduled pickup location.
  • Booking was cancelled by Apna Chalak due to unavailability.
  • Trip was cancelled in accordance with our cancellation terms.

b. Non-Refundable Situations:

  • No refund if customer cancels after the driver reaches the pickup location.
  • No refund if the customer behaves inappropriately or violates terms, resulting in trip cancellation.
  • Charges for night allowance, return fare, or extra hours are non-refundable once the trip begins.

3. Refund Process

  • Refunds processed to original payment method within 7 business days.
  • Cash transactions will be refunded via bank transfer or UPI after verification.
  • Confirmation will be sent via SMS/Email once refund is processed.

4. Late Arrival & No-Show

  • If driver arrives more than 15 minutes late and the customer cancels, a full refund is issued.
  • If the driver marks the trip as "arrived" and the customer is unreachable after 15 minutes, no refund will be issued.

5. Special Cases

  • For technical errors, double payments, or incorrect deductions, contact support within 48 hours for correction/refund.
  • Apna Chalak reserves the right to review each case before issuing a refund.
